Introduction of the Core Skill Focus Organization (CSFO):
The Core Skills Focus Organization (CSFO) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profitable organization managed by highly qualified members of Afghan team. CSFO is registered with the Ministry of Economic of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in October 2011 and recently received TVET License from Ministry of Labor and Social Affair. In order to facilitate the implementation of project operational activities, the project harmonized and regularly coordinates with the concerned governmental and non-governmental institutions operating across Afghanistan. The following is CSFO interventions segregated by sectors.Institutional Capacity Development& High Standard Research: build the capacity of government and civil society organization CSOs and private sectors how to utilize national skill standards and codes to increase certified skill labors.
skill Development (Vocational and Enterprises Development: in this area, major interventions involved provision of market driven vocational and business development trainings for unemployed and underemployed Afghans, and especially those who have are lacking skills to become employable in order to contribute to their own and their families’ livelihood. CSFO through its qualified team has established a development platform for the local communities through which they are not only organizing themselves but also raising their voices for their rights and social economic development.
Women Economic Empowerment (WEE): to improve the situation of women in Afghanistan to minimize the number of women who are subjected to violence by empowering them through access to knowledge and greater economic independency. In this spirit, CSFO works towards women empowerment, education and livelihood promotion, and aspires to improve the living conditions of the poor and marginalized by adopting strategies through community initiative, participation and sensitizations
Legal Advocacy: for government, civil society and community in the area of traditional conflict resolution, Gender Based Violence (GBV), Elimination of Violence against Women (EVAW), Women Democratic Education, Women Political Participation.
IDPs: supporting refugees and internally and external displaced persons.
